Footnote:
This CV covers the years 1995 - 2006; to include the years prior to that would be silly,
even tedious. There is no particular chronology to the projects listed,
neither have all projects been included.
Robbie Stevens trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama, in London; his first paid voice-over was for Gerry Anderson, providing character voices for Terrahawks, including Yungstar, Hudson, Stew Dapples and Dix-Huit (and recently he provided the voice of Captain Blue in The New Captain Scarlet, also for Gerry Anderson. But back to the plot...)
Then, while appearing in a West End show, a voice-over agent snapped him up and put him into circulation in Soho.
This was the beginning of his full-time career behind a microphone, the fruits of which you can read about in the next panel and listen to on the Showreel page.
As an actor he has appeared in numerous regional theatres, from the King's Theatre, Edinburgh to The Young Vic and The Queen's Theatre in London, playing such demanding roles as Jimmy in Look Back in Anger, Ned in The Normal Heart and Launcelot Gobbo in The Merchant of Venice.
Nowadays his face is more frequently seen in corporate and TV presentations. And occasionally on his local golf course, too.
